“ my go to chinese restaurant! love their szechuan food! spicy and tingling with mala flavor szechuan peppercorns, cant be beat! when sick, their soups and american chinese food is so healing and comforting. so glad they are nearby! ”
“ Hands down my favorite restaurant in Maryland and perhaps the entire country. Do yourself a favor and order the spicy fish fillets. ”
“ Weve gotten takeout from here over a dozen times since last summer. Weve also dined in once. Its been very good every time! Im not sure whats up with these reviews. Our online orders are always ready quickly, even during dinner rush. The employees we have interacted with are perfectly courteous. The interior is nice and pretty clean there is more dining space upstairs. Dinein service was casual but friendly attentive. The food is great. Our favorite dish is the Chicken with Szechuan Pepper! We also enjoy the Pork Lo Mein, the Chicken with Mixed Vegetables, the Pepper Steak, the Egg Rolls, and the Wonton Soup. Weve been happy with the portions and prices. ”
“ Service The service here is excellent! We came with a large delegation and were able to reserve and place our order ahead of time, which made everything seamless. The staff was attentive and efficient. I noticed takeout orders were prepared in 10 minutes or less, which is impressive! Taste The food was phenomenalhands down the best Chinese cuisine Ive had. I tried the sesame chicken, tofu, fish, and kung pao chicken, and each dish was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Ambiance When you see a lot of Chinese diners, you know the food is going to be authentic and amazing. The restaurant was bustling but still wellorganized and welcoming, a great sign of quality. Recommendation This spot is a mustvisit for authentic Chinese food. Whether dining in or taking out, the experience is worth it. Ill definitely be back for another round of delicious dishes! ”
“ One of my favorite restaurants in Baltimore!!! Authentic Chinese food, I have brought almost all my friends here! We all enjoyed the food here! ”
“ We used Orient Express as the location of our rehearsal lunch for our wedding at the Baltimore Museum of Art down the road. We had about 25 people in the upstairs part and we ordered several dishes per tables. Everything tasted amazing as expected, and it was a really nice space for people to get to know each other. Everyone really enjoyed themselves. The management was also very kind and easy to work with to set this up. ”
“ Cant comment much on the authenticity of this place, but its a staple for a reason. Its the classic chinese takeout joint thats a safe, fallback option for Hopkins students. Its open pretty late too, if I remember correctly. The portion sizes are large and the prices are standard. Dont expect to be surprised, but theres always Orient. ”
“ Anyone rating this place below 5 stars is ordering off the wrong part of the menu. The American Chinese food here is soso general chicken, egg rolls, etc, but the Szechuan side of the menu is the best Chinese food in the whole city, on par with Panda Gourmet in DC for those who know. Try something new and youll be pleasantly surprised! ”
